We Could All Use a Little Change

“Don’t worry that children never listen to you. Worry that they are always watching you.”

Kids listen with their eyes.

Your kids may hate change and actually fight it, but they may be getting it from you.

Adapting to new things, people, places, and situations might bring them stress, anxiety, and even depression. They may become angry as well.

When a major life change happens, your brain automatically sees it as negative. This can influence your decision-making process and increase feelings of anxiety and depression.

This doesn’t mean our response to change always has to be negative.

We can adapt and choose the way we respond to situations, good or bad.
